Best Cincinnati and Dayton Wedding Venues
As a wedding photographer based between Dayton and Cincinnati, I get to see a lot of gorgeous venues — and a handful that I come back to again and again because they’re truly special. The Marmalade Lily — Loveland, OH
If you’re dreaming of a wedding day wrapped in flowers and sunlight, The Marmalade Lily should be on your shortlist. This family-owned flower farm and barn venue is nestled in the heart of Loveland, and every corner feels intentionally beautiful — from the curated gardens to the reflecting pond and shaded ceremony spots. Their florals are grown onsite and are absolutely mind-blowing, perfectly matching the same palette as the landscape you’re surrounded by.
What I really love about this venue (aside from how gorgeous it is) is the care the team puts into every wedding. Their coordinators and staff are easy to work with and genuinely invested in making things run smoothly — which is a dream when you’re balancing timelines and capturing every moment.
From the outdoor tree grove for a ceremony and flower-lined walkways to the barn and covered patio, there are so many stunning scenes for portraits — no matter the season.
French Park – Cincinnati, OH
There’s something timeless about French Park, especially for couples who want classic architecture blended with natural beauty. The historic French House — a stately brick estate located in a 275-acre park in Amberley Village — makes for an elegant wedding backdrop with manicured gardens, meadows, walking trails, and plenty of leafy, scenic spots for portraits.
As a photographer, I love shooting here because the light and landscape are always changing — whether it’s a soft morning glow through the trees, sunset backlight on the lawns, or golden hour filtering between the brick and greenery. On more than one occasion, I’ve watched guests wander the grounds during cocktail hour, enjoying the views — and I’ve even seen deer graze quietly near ceremony spaces, which is such a sweet, natural moment to capture.
Weddings here can feel both classic and romantic, with outdoor ceremony spots that overlook scenic vistas and flexible reception options in and around the French House.
Canopy Creek Farm – Miamisburg, OH
If you’re after rustic elegance with panoramic countryside views, Canopy Creek Farm is hard to beat. Situated on 24 rolling acres near Dayton, this venue blends open sky with charming charm — think wildflower meadows, water features, and wide-open spaces that make your photos feel epic and effortless.
The reception barn is seriously beautiful: vaulted ceilings, rustic chandeliers, and a spacious layout that feels both cozy and grand. The venue also offers several outdoor ceremony options — from creekside and veranda sites to spots by the trees — so you can select the backdrop that best fits your vibe.
What I appreciate most about Canopy Creek is how many beautiful moments there are within walking distance on the property. Whether it’s bride and groom portraits at sunset, candid moments on the porch, or wide-open field shots with your bridal party, this place gives you so many visual stories in one wedding day.
Rosewood Manor – Miamisburg, OH
Down a quiet drive just south of Dayton, Rosewood Manor at Magnolia Estate delivers classically elegant wedding vibes with its stately architecture and timeless design. This isn’t just another barn — it’s a southern-manor–inspired wedding space with bright natural light, tall windows, and architectural details that elevate both ceremonies and receptions.
One of my favorite things here is the way the space behaves in photos: the light dances off the white exterior, and the grounds around the manor — including the fountain, wooden pagoda ceremony space, and balconies — give you variety without having to travel far for portraits.
Inside, the classic look pairs beautifully with a range of wedding styles — whether you’re going for timeless, romantic, or modern elegant. The outdoor ceremony area under the pagoda is also perfect for couples who want that sweet garden feel with architectural framing.
